On May 26th, on the occasion of International Children's Day, China University of Petroleum (East China) College of International Education organized nearly 20 international students from Russia, Tajikistan, Pakistan, Iran, Egypt, Morocco and other countries to visit the affiliated kindergarten to carry out cultural exchange activities with the children. International students presented a unique cultural feast for the kindergarten teachers and children through exotic dance performances, traditional costume fashion shows and funny interactions.

The event commenced with upbeat music. Our international students first performed a well-choreographed folk dance, the passionate and unrestrained dance steps and unique costumes instantly lit up the atmosphere of the scene. Students from Tajikistan and Turkmenistan demonstrated traditional Tajik folk dances, waving long skirts and rhythmic and dynamic movements attracted cheers from the children. International students from Russia demonstrated their youth and vitality with an energetic street dance.

The next part of the program was the “World Costume Show”, which brought the event to a climax. The international students, dressed in their country's traditional costumes, took the stage one by one and waved to the children.

“Sister's dress is as pretty as a rainbow!”,“Their dance is different from ours!”

During the activity, the children observed and imitated with wide-eyed curiosity, while the international students squatted down to patiently answer questions and interacted enthusiastically.

This exchange is one of the series activities of“Five Continents Culture into School”of the College of International Education, which aims to promote Chinese and foreign cultural exchanges in a relaxed and lively form, and at the same time enhance the sense of social responsibility of international students.
